Quantum Pacific invests in Indonesian thermal coal development company
Quantum Pacific Capital ("Quantum Pacific") announces its first natural resources investment in Aries Capital Partners Limited ("ACP"), a thermal coal development company focused on Indonesia. ACP holds minority stakes in six Indonesian coal companies with conjoining tracts of land in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Collectively, the companies own an estimated 400 million tonnes in coal reserves suitable for use by the world's power producers. With this investment, Quantum Pacific expects to benefit from the continued demand / supply imbalance for high quality thermal coal in the Asia-Pacific energy market.
